Each session is designed to make the most of the conditions on the day, and will typically be a mix of outdoor adventures, problem solving skills and personal development. The TYF guides will assess the weather, the groups ability and decide on the best adventures for the day.
The TYF Holiday Club is an opportunity for children to learn and play through a range of stimulating nature-connected activities, ranging from raft-building to kayaking (read about our the full range of activities in the FAQ's below).
These adventure-packed days run from 9am-5pm and children are split into two groups, ages 8-12 and 13-16.
TYF have been running wild adventures in Pembrokeshire for over 35 years and are on a mission to help people grow the skills, knowledge and networks to become nature-connected, healthy and confident citizens ready for a lifetime of independent adventure and positive contribution to community and nature.
I wanted to give you some feedback from Tuesday evening. The boys loved the raft building, it was a great experience for them! Also I really like how you change the meeting point each time so that they experience different parts of the area, it’s also nice for me too as I have their little brother with me when they are at the Adventure Club and as it’s too far to go home we go off for a mini adventure. This week we went to Abereiddy and the Blue Lagoon, last week was Whitesands and the week before was the Cathedral!
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to you all, they really enjoyed yesterday. You guys are certainly making some awesome memories with them and I can't thank you enough for the opportunities.
Brilliant, thanks so much - my daughter had the best time tonight so much thanks to all the staff and the bonus for me was visiting part of the county I've never been to before despite living here all my life. You all do an amazing job, thank you
Holiday Club Activities
What activities does the club offer?
Who is the club for?
The club is for children aged 8-16 and is split into two separate sessions of 8-11 year olds and 12-16 year olds.
What equipment do I need?
We will provide you with all equipment needed for the sessions. If you need to borrow a wetsuit then please let us know before the session
What if I can't swim?
When taking part in any wet activit you will be provided with all necessary flotation equipment (Buoyancy Aid for kayaking and coasteering and surfborad for surfing).
We run these sessions at a small ratio of 1 guide to 8 participants which enables close support and supervision.

How long is the session?
These are day-long sessions which run from 9am-5pm
What if I'm running late?

Where does the session take place?
Our club will run from a different location each week depending on the activity and the best location for the conditions. We will inform you of the location 4 days prior to the activity.

For the time being we're just running the club for the two age cohorts (8-11 and 12-16).
