Mini Adventures

January 2022

I wanted to give you some feedback from Tuesday evening. The boys loved the raft building, it was a great experience for them! Also I really like how you change the meeting point each time so that they experience different parts of the area, it’s also nice for me too as I have their little brother with me when they are at the Adventure Club and as it’s too far to go home we go off for a mini adventure. This week we went to Abereiddy and the Blue Lagoon, last week was Whitesands and the week before was the Cathedral!

Awesome Memories

Brilliant

March 2022

Brilliant, thanks so much - my daughter had the best time tonight so much thanks to all the staff and the bonus for me was visiting part of the county I've never been to before despite living here all my life. You all do an amazing job, thank you

Holiday Club Activities

What activities does the club offer?

Each session is designed to make the most of the conditions on the day, and will typically be a mix of outdoor adventures, problem solving skills and personal development. The TYF guides will assess the weather, the groups ability and decide on the best adventures for the day.

FAQ's

Who is the club for?

The club is for children aged 8-16 and is split into two separate sessions of 8-11 year olds and 12-16 year olds.

What equipment do I need?

We will provide you with all equipment needed for the sessions. If you need to borrow a wetsuit then please let us know before the session

What if I can't swim?

When taking part in any wet activit you will be provided with all necessary flotation equipment (Buoyancy Aid for kayaking and coasteering and surfborad for surfing).

We run these sessions at a small ratio of 1 guide to 8 participants which enables close support and supervision.

While our activities are not specifically designed to teach swimming the water confidence gained while out on session along with the basic swimming techniques given by the guide will get your kids swimming in no time!

How long is the session?

These are day-long sessions which run from 9am-5pm

What if I'm running late?

Please make sure that you arrive on time for the session, as the session times are relatively short it has a big impact on the other participants if one person is late. Late arrivals might not be able to participate depending on the activities.

Where does the session take place?

Our club will run from a different location each week depending on the activity and the best location for the conditions. We will inform you of the location 4 days prior to the activity.

When are the sessions?

Daily throughout the summer months

My child is younger than 8, can they come?

For the time being we're just running the club for the two age cohorts (8-11 and 12-16).
