TYF Fresh Adventure - Freshwater East

A Fresh TYF Adventure - Open for group bookings of ten or more only from September 1st 2009.

Close to the historic towns of Pembroke and Tenby, Fresh Adventure is set in the beautiful bay of Freshwater East. We are part of a small close community which as part of the Coastcare scheme is totally committed to keeping the bay as pristine as possible which means a great beach to try your sand castle building talents on.
Here we offer all the thrills of the TYF Adventure….. with a southern twist. One of our most popular family coasteering sites is at the stunning Barafundle Bay; this year awarded the coveted accolade of Best Beach in Britain. However, if you want to test your mettle then Lydstep is the place for you, sheer limestone cliffs offer the best in coasteering® and climbing. If waves are your thing we are lucky enough to be a short distance from one of the best surfing beaches in Pembrokeshire. Freshwater West attracts Britain’s best surfers and the top competitions in Britain, not to mention our guides!

For those who want to wind down and share grand tales of adventure over a beer or two, there is a bar and restaurant on site which has conference facilities for those serious moments.

We run group sessions of ten or more from 1st September at Freshwater East. Give the booking office a call on 01437 721611 to find out more.

Sharing Cars To Get Here:
One of the great benefits of living in Pembrokeshire is that it feels like living at the edge of the world, and in fact Ireland is a lot closer than London! If you are coming by car, please try and fill as many seats as possible; if you can get more than two in, you will be more environmentally friendly than if you use public transport.

We would like to encourage you to hook up with others that are visiting Ty Hir and to share lifts wherever possible. If you are travelling by yourself, you can find others to travel with and share the expense. Try www.switch2share.com or Register with www.liftshare.org and you can organise transport with 65,000+ other car sharers, looking for and offering lifts.

We know that it feels strange to do this, but please give it a go. Not only will you be giving invaluable help to the planet, you are also likely to meet people with a common interest in getting outdoors, being active and enjoying Pembrokeshire - it could be the start of a beautiful thing!!
