TYF is on a quest to create lasting learning partnerships with forward-thinking schools and colleges, and the key organisations within their communities.
We work with educators to co-design bespoke learning experiences within schools and in wild places that spark the imagination, boost personal and social development, and help pupils build a set of ‘backpack skills’ for a lifetime of making a difference.
Led by experienced in-house facilitators and expert guide staff, our engaging residential programmes, nature-based activities, and classroom workshops give kids the knowledge, motivation, and confidence to become proactive stewards of the environment.
We have a wide range of ready-to-go courses available, or we can tailor the programme to fit your school’s unique needs.
We believe it’s important to engage learners at a deeper level, so we link our adventures with impact problem-solving to ensure pupils find meaning and inspiration in each activity.
As standard, we suggest five workshops, along with one or two residential trips in Pembrokeshire per year to get the most from the programme. We’re confident that our locally run programmes are hard to beat but will also work wherever you need us to.
Our outdoor activities are all designed to help young people fall in love with nature, grow fearless curiosity and develop an unshakeable confidence in their ability to make a positive difference. Our unforgettable adventures on the Pembrokeshire Coast include:
Our interactive workshops give students the knowledge to prepare for the challenges coming their way, including the climate and nature emergency. You can choose from a selection of our workshops including:
