Adventure Guides and Assistant Guides – 2025 Season
Salary Range: £25,000 to £29,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience)
Closing Date: Open until filled
Location: St Davids, Pembrokeshire, SA62 6SD
Recruitment Weekend: 2nd & 3rd November 2024
About the role:
Qualifications and Prerequisites:
● Full-time fixed-term contract between March 2025 to September 2025
● 40 hours per week (annualised hours)
● Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications
● 4-week induction training (paid)
● Training and development opportunities throughout employment
● Access to all our adventure equipment
● Work in a vibrant and supportive team environment
● Uniform provided
Essential
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Hold a current DBS (dated within the last two years) or update service.
✔ Level 1 Safeguarding Qualification
✔ 16hr First Aid
✔ Hold a portfolio of NGB awards, in one or more of the following:
– RCI
– Paddlesport Touring Leader or Sea Kayak Leader
– ASI Level 1 or equivalent surf qualification/experience
– A paddleboarding qualification (ideally BC Coastal SUP Leader)
– NCC Coasteering Guide Award
Desirable
▪ Higher-level NGBs
▪ D1 (Minibus) and E (Trailer) classifications
▪ NVBLQ Beach Lifeguard
▪ Mountain Leader (summer)
