“I spent four months on the TYF Adventure’s Outdoor instructor training course as part of a career change, and it genuinely changed how I see my future. I’ve always loved watersports and hiking, so getting to learn leadership, safety, and expedition skills outside felt natural and energising. The instructors were encouraging and hands-on — they pushed me out of my comfort zone but always made sure I felt safe and supported. By the end I had real confidence, practical experience, and a clearer idea of the outdoor career I want.”

“I’ve just completed the 17-week Outdoor Pursuits Instructor Training course with TYF in Pembrokeshire and absolutely loved every minute of it. The course was challenging, inspiring and incredibly well delivered. I was lucky to be part of a brilliant, funny and supportive group of fellow students, which made the whole experience even more memorable.”
