Sustainable Innovation Masters Programme

Sustainable Innovation Masters Programme

March is B Corp Month, with a focus on spreading good news about the impact that B Corp businesses are making and encouraging others to join the journey. It’s a privilege to share news of a new mission-based learning programme which TYF will launch in May with 30 students studying for an MBA or
Masters in Management at the Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria in Canada.

This hands-on field trip has been co-designed with the Masters course leaders to give Gustavson’s students an insider’s view of shifts being catalysed by UK B Corps and impact enterprises, sharing knowledge and insight that they can apply to state and city challenges when they return home to Canada.

Students will meet pioneers in sustainable innovation and organisation from a range of industries and develop skills and confidence for bold change through experiential and project-based learning activities with a focus of calibrating their ambition to the scale of challenge ahead.

Input from Founding UK B Corps Elvis and Kresse and Cook will be woven with mission-based work challenges, experiential and adventure learning. Keynotes and projects from industry experts including Down to Earth Project’s Mark McKennaDr Emma Pope, on nature connection, Dr Jane Davidson on governance of policy innovation for change, David Hieatt on community impact and, Dr Sarah Beynon on the future of food.

If you’re a leader in sustainable innovation with insights and challenges that you’d like to share on future programmes, or are an educator on a mission to integrate real-world learning into education, then please get in touch via learn@tyf.com or drop by to see us next time you are in St. Davids.
