Modules
Each module of the instructor training course will have a clear, progressive pathway to competency with plenty of room to develop both personally and professionally.

We will also be able to provide opportunities to shadow and observe sessions and as you progress through the course you will be able to take a more active role in leading groups to ensure you get hands-on experience that will aid you in fulfilling the prerequisites and log-books for your qualification assessments.
Skill development
Alongside the coaching and skill development in Coasteering, Surfing, Paddlesports, Climbing and Mountaineering. We will be working with you to develop the necessary skills needed to excel in the industry and to help you develop your own tool kit to use in your future career as an outdoor instructor. Accommodation
As part of the TYF Outdoor Instructor Training Course, you will be staying at one of our local accommodation partners in bunkhouse style accommodation. The bunkhouse is on the edge of St Davids, so is within walking distance of TYF HQ as well as the local supermarket, garage, pubs and other local amenities.
From your front door, you also have direct access to the Pembrokeshire coast path and it is about a 5 minute walk to your nearest beach which is pictured above!
Catering
All the meals are home-cooked, substantial meals that always get amazing feedback from our groups! You will be fully catered for Monday to Friday, during the days you are attending the course, which allows you the flexibility to make your own plans at the weekend.

We will be hosting open days in the lead up to the course so that those interested can come and have a chat with our course facilitators, as well as meet those who may also be keen to apply and learn a bit more about what’s on offer.
