Here’s what’s included and what you need to know before you jump into a TYF powerboat coasteering adventure.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with TYF Adventure Ltd for adventure activities, courses and experiences.
By making a booking, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions and that the information you provide during the booking process is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
1. Booking Your Adventure
A booking is confirmed once full payment has been received and you have received a confirmation email from TYF Adventure.
Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us immediately if any information is incorrect.
The person making the booking accepts these Terms & Conditions on behalf of everyone included within the booking and is responsible for ensuring all participants are aware of them.
2. Payment
Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed by TYF Adventure.
Prices shown on our website include any applicable VAT unless otherwise stated.
3. Age Requirements
Our activities are designed for different age groups.
Minimum age requirements are shown on each activity page and must be met on the day of the activity.
4. Children & Young People
Children aged 8–15 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
For surfing and climbing, the accompanying adult does not have to participate but must remain at the activity venue throughout the session.
For all other activities, accompanying adults are normally expected to participate unless otherwise agreed by TYF Adventure.
Young adults aged 16–17 may participate without an accompanying adult, provided a parent or legal guardian remains within the St Davids area and is contactable for the duration of the activity.
Children under the age of 8 may occasionally be accommodated depending on the activity, weather conditions and the availability of suitable equipment. Please contact us before booking.
5. Health & Fitness
Our activities involve moderate to strenuous physical activity in natural environments. Participants are responsible for ensuring they are fit and able to take part in the activity they have booked.
Participants must:
If a participant fails to disclose relevant medical information or arrives without essential medication that has been declared, TYF Adventure may refuse their participation where, in the opinion of our guides, it would be unsafe for them to take part.
Similarly, if at any point before or during the activity our guides believe a participant is unable to participate safely due to their fitness, medical condition, injury, illness or impairment, TYF Adventure reserves the right to refuse or end their participation.
In these circumstances, participants will not normally be entitled to a refund.
6. Alcohol & Drugs
Participants must not take part in any activity whilst under the influence of alcohol or illegal drugs.
Any participant who appears to be impaired may be refused participation without refund.
7. Participant Declaration
Every participant must complete TYF Adventure’s Participant Declaration before taking part.
Participants under the age of 18 must have the declaration completed by a parent or legal guardian.

8. Safety & Behaviour
Safety is our highest priority.
All participants must follow the instructions of TYF Adventure staff at all times.
Our guides may exclude any participant whose behaviour is unsafe, abusive, disruptive or places themselves, other participants or our staff at risk.
No refund will be given where participation is refused or ended because of a participant’s behaviour or failure to follow reasonable instructions.
9. Clothing & Equipment
Participants are responsible for arriving with the clothing and footwear described within their booking confirmation.
TYF Adventure supplies specialist safety equipment appropriate for each activity.
Participants must use equipment as instructed and must not intentionally misuse or damage TYF equipment.
Where equipment is lost or damaged through negligence or deliberate misuse, TYF Adventure reserves the right to recover the cost of repair or replacement.
10. Changes to Your Booking
We understand that plans sometimes change.
If you need to cancel your booking, the following refunds apply:

Requests to change the date of a booking are subject to availability and are treated in line with the cancellation policy above.
Participants who arrive late or fail to attend their activity will not be entitled to a refund.
TYF Adventure may, at its discretion, make exceptions to these terms where exceptional circumstances exist.
11. Changes by TYF Adventure
Adventure activities take place in dynamic natural environments.
To provide the safest and best possible experience, TYF Adventure may change:
where weather, sea conditions, tides, environmental factors or operational requirements make this necessary.
These changes form part of the normal delivery of adventurous activities and do not constitute cancellation.
12. Weather & Cancellations
Our activities operate in a wide range of weather conditions.
Where possible we will adapt the activity or offer an alternative adventure that is suitable for the conditions.
If TYF Adventure determines that conditions are unsuitable for any activity to safely take place, we will normally offer:

13. Circumstances Beyond Our Control
TYF Adventure cannot accept responsibility for cancellations or delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

14. Liability
TYF Adventure delivers professionally managed adventurous activities designed to reduce the risk of serious injury or death to an acceptable level. However, no adventurous activity can eliminate risk entirely.
Our activities take place in dynamic natural environments where conditions such as weather, tides, sea state, terrain and other natural hazards can change. Despite careful planning, experienced guides, maintained equipment and robust safety procedures, participation involves inherent risks, including the possibility of serious injury or death.
Further details of these inherent risks are set out in the TYF Adventure Participant Declaration, which every participant must complete before taking part.
Participants are expected to follow all reasonable instructions given by TYF Adventure staff throughout their activity.
TYF Adventure will not accept liability for injury, loss or damage arising from a participant’s failure to follow reasonable instructions, failure to disclose relevant medical information, failure to carry essential declared medication, or behaviour that places themselves or others at unnecessary risk.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits TYF Adventure’s liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
We recommend that participants have appropriate personal travel and activity insurance where applicable.
15. Personal Property
Participants are welcome to leave small personal belongings with TYF Adventure during activities where facilities are available.
All property is left entirely at the owner’s risk.
Items taken onto activities remain the responsibility of the participant.
TYF Adventure cannot accept responsibility for loss, theft or damage to personal belongings except where required by law.
16. Photography
During activities, TYF Adventure may take photographs or video for promotional purposes.
If you would prefer not to appear in photographs or video, please let your guide know before your activity begins and we will respect your wishes wherever reasonably possible.
17. Privacy
Personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation.
Information collected during booking and participation is used solely for the administration and safe delivery of your activity.
18. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
