We're stoked to be hosting a film screening of the short kayaking film 'The River of Mirrors' on May 13th in our Hub & Cafe as part of its tour around the UK!
The River of Mirrors is a modern revival of the soul and style of pioneering surf films of the 1970s. A paddlesports vision reimagined to create a world first cinematic experience that looks beyond adrenaline and ego. A love letter to water, a kayak film unlike any other, with an epic original score recorded for the big screen by Slowly Rolling Camera.
There will also be a raffle with lots of cool prizes up for grabs including a custom kayak! Tickets will include a delicious home-cooked bowl of curry and rice, with hot & cold drinks also available from our bar.
