Desperate to do it all over again

Kate Nicholls, 16th September 2020

Setting off from Porthclais Harbour, our kayaking adventure was so much fun. Our instructor, Hayden, was reassuring, knowledgeable, calm and full of great ideas to make our morning on the sea really memorable. We were left feeling so invigorated, alive and desperate to do it all over again.

We thought we'd been unlucky as the weather was rainy and cool on the day we'd booked - but to the contrary, this proved to be the best gift ever. There was a breeze and the waves were big enough to really feel that we were at one with nature.

Highly recommended. We'll be back.

Fantastic!

We did sea kayaking with our pooch with Martin and it was a fantastic experience all round from booking all the way through to the end. The team were very accommodating and out on the water Martin was extremely experienced and professional, and very patient and helpful trying to make sure both myself and my husband as well as the dog were comfortable and having a good time. I couldn't rate this experience highly enough.

Sea Kayaking

We took our two young daughters out on this sea kayaking trip with TYF. Our Guides name was Ben and he was excellent, kept the girls engaged and even when our youngest had a meltdown out on the kayak he got her back enjoying it. Also as a bonus I saw a sea otter. Have used TYF for over a decade now and will continue to.

Awesome!

Arrived in TYF for a sea kayaking experience and was greeted by the loveliest team of people, and we were made to feel at home and at ease straight away. There was a massive buzz getting ready to go on our adventure, and the experience from start to finish was an exceptional one.

I live in St Davids, and yet this was a brand new and thrilling opportunity to do something, new, different and really fun.Special mentions go to Reece and Jamie for being incredibly passionate and able guides - keeping my nerves at bay. Their skills were clear, and they made the whole experience feel personal, fun, exciting and honestly, just brilliant!Thank you so much.

Spent a fantastic morning sea kayaking with TYF, our guide Tom was brilliant, he showed us some wonderful caves and taught us loads about the natural environment and we are now all experts on jellyfish! I would definitely recommend such a fun activity particularly with TYF who do everything so well.

Sea kayaking from Porth Clais near St David's

Keith B, 1st June 2018

Hadn't been in a kayak for over 20 years, previously done some white water and some slalom but never been to sea.Signed up for an afternoon of sea kayaking whilst on holiday in St David's and enjoyed it tremendously.

Our group consisted of myself and three ladies and our leader was Dylan who did a great job of assessing what we were capable of and how long we were likely to last. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to sea the cliffs and coves from a different angle and who is reasonably fit and a little adventurous. Thanks Dylan ( where are the photographs? ) I might have another go next year.Keith
