TYF is split into three key business areas: Active Learning, Retail and Support.
Booking Office: This is the main point of contact for all TYF Adventure customers. Enquiries, bookings, staffing and logistics are all organised here.
Adventure Guides: Our guides deliver the bulk of the Adventure products on offer. Guides have developed an excellent reputation for allowing customers to experience adventure at a higher level than is usually available elsewhere. TYF have a world class staff training programme in place to ensure that all of our customers learn about risk and develop a deep appreciation for the natural environment.
School & Youth Programmes: Many schools and youth groups choose to use TYF to take part in outdoor and adventurous activities to fulfil an important part of their young people’s development needs. During a TYF youth course many noticeable changes can be seen: increased personal confidence, breaking down of barriers, and an increased learning about their abilities.
Corporate: TYF provides an exhilarating range of programmes and services for businesses of all sizes in both the public and private sector. From groundbreaking experiences such as Super Sense to classic team building or just fun! With over 30 years experience, tens of thousands of participants and hundreds of clients, we introduce new ways to doing things that get better results for people, planet and purpose.
Shop: We are a Patagonia Pro Store, B Corp business and most recently, started selling artisan ethical products made in and around St Davids. Our Pro Store commitment means we have one of the widest ranges of Patagonia clothing in the UK, making it easy for our customers to try, buy and smile.
Business Development: Ideas generated by the staff team and new business ideas are stress tested and carried through to development.
Finance: Handles payroll, company reporting, PAYE and HMRC.
Marketing: Social media, print marketing, copy-writting and graphic design.
Facilities Management: equipment and buildings maintenance
Tennants: 7 offices located upstairs at 1 High Street, Voyages of Discovery, Hot Desking and TYF Courtyard all provide additional revenue streams to TYF.
