This alternative NYE weekender is all about giving yourself the inspiration and ideas to set yourself up for your best year yet. 

Start the new year as you mean to go on. This action-packed three day running and adventure weekend focuses as much on inspiration and goal setting for the new year, as it does on spending quality time in pristine nature. The backdrop is the wildest part of the rugged West Wales coastline and the cool waters of the Atlantic Ocean. 

Expert led, ground-breaking and impactful workshops will help you find your "ikigai" - a Japanese term meaning "a reason for being." Our facilitators will help you tear down any remaining barriers that are stopping you from pursuing your ikigai with passion and purpose.Connect with nature and nourish your soul as you surf, wild swim and coasteer your way through the weekend, Join a guided run, hike or night trail run that explores coastal trails on unparalleled beauty. As the stars come out, warm yourself by the fire bowl, with a hot mulled wine in hand and meaningful campfire conversations that continue well into the night. Round out each day with a long table banquet surrounded by new friends and creative souls that share your passion for adventure.

Great Tit Weekend

The Bluetits, TYF and Celtic Camping invite you to come along and unite in a celebration of our marvellous with like minded souls from around the UK. The weekend will showcase the best of the Pembrokeshire coastline with plenty of swimming, eating, game playing, craft workshops, swim/coasteering and music.


Friday 27th September

  • 12:00 - Arrive, settle in, swim in the cove below the campsite, take a stroll along the Pembrokeshire coast path to Abereiddy (swim in The Blue Lagoon which is a short walk from the Abereiddy car park...whatever you fancy. Tea & Toast available in the meeting area all afternoon.

  • 19:30 - Welcome supper and safety briefing in the dining room. 

  • 21:00 - Harvest Moon swim in the cove below Celtic Camping. Please bring a torch for this as we shall be walking along a path through farm fields in the dark to get to the cove. You are also advised to wear beach/swim shoes for the swim as the cove is pebbly at high and low water.

Saturday 28th September

  • 08:00 - Breakfast at Celtic Camping.

  • 09:30 - Coasteering or swimming at Caerfai Beach 

  • 13:30 - Lunch in St. Davids

  • 14:00 - Free Time / Craft Workshops (£5pp) / Adventure activities (£40pp) 

  • 19:30 - Dinner at Celtic Camping

  • 20:30 - Open Mic. A chance for anyone and everyone to take part. Singing, instruments, comedy or poems. Mike brings along all his instruments which you are welcome to use and be part of the band with him at the helm or bring your own of course. Mike is very experienced at hosting open mic nights but to facilitate the smooth running of the evening an idea of what you would like to perform would be good.

Sunday 29th September

  • 08:00 - Breakfast at Celtic Camping.

  • 09:30 - Team challenge and raft building exercise with TYF. 

  • 13:30 - Lunch

  • 14:00 - Porthsele low tide swim to Whitesands beach and a walk back to cars along the beach or across the coast path.
