Requirements
You have a passion for learning, strong leadership & communication skills, compassion and understanding, and proven ability to adapt your teaching for weather, ambition & circumstance. You want to be best for your customers and for the world, coaching and inspiring customers through adventure and outdoor education.

Essential
You have a 16 hour first aid certificate and one or more of the following NGB awards
• RCI (SPA) assessed
• UKCC Level 1 Coach with 4-Star Sea Kayak Leader
• ASI Level 1 or equivalent surf qualification/ experience
• A stand-up paddleboard qualification
• Experience working with school/ youth groups

Desirable:
• D1 minibus entitlement
• Coasteering guiding experience
• Beach lifeguard or lifesaving certificate
Seasonal guiding positions £18,200 – £23,000 (pro-rata), depending on experience and qualifications.

TRAINEE GUIDE – apply today

Requirements
You are inspired by the power of the outdoors and adventure. You want to use your growing leadership and communication skills to help others grow confidence, curiosity and wellbeing through guided experiences in wild, beautiful places.

As a TYF Trainee Guide, you can gain the following experience and qualifications:
• SLSGB National Vocational Beach lifeguard
• 500 hours’ assisting, learning and teaching coasteering, kayaking, surfing, climbing, coast path walking, problem solving and impact learning
• Opportunity to help shape up new customer experiences

Desirable:
• D1 minibus entitlement
• A 16-hour First Aid qualification
• Experience working with school / youth groups

Trainee guide salary starting £16,330 (pro rata)
