Example programme
We specialise in creating bespoke courses to ensure you can achieve the right result to suit your needs and requirements. At any point you wish, we will provide risks assessments, our Public Liability insurance, and our AALA License, to make things a little easier for you.
Every schools programme we run is different so the programme below is just an idea of how a week at TYF might look.

Day 1
-
PM: Arrive. Introductions and orientation. Settle into accommodation. Discuss programme content and objectives

EVE: Beach walk. SMARTER goals for the week and next day. How SEA change (Sustainability, Enterprise and Action) will underpin the whole programme.

Day 2
-
AM: Coasteering - TYF’s world famous activity which includes low level traversing, adventure swimming, exploring caves, jumping off rocks and cliffs and playing in the swirlies.

PM: Climbing on some of the classic Pembrokeshire sea cliffs . The perfect beginners cliffs providing the perfect opportunity to sample the delights of abseiling down cliffs and climbing back up to the top.

EVE: Environmental education coastal walks, species identification, sustainablility and climate change awarness, beach exploring and rock pooling with Lou, our in house marine biologist.

Day 3

AM: Sea kayaking, a trip to explore parts of the Pembrokeshire coastline, rarely seen by others including hidden coves, darkened caves and secluded beaches.

PM: “The Gauntlet “. A series of team problem solving games and challenges.

EVE: Smarter by nature – Learning about food, health, learning from nature – Examples of biomimicry in the local area.

Day 4

AM: Raft Building Improvised raft building, learning to work together in small groups to find the most effective way to build a sea worthy craft.

PM: Surfing Special beginners boards, warm wetsuits and skilled instructors to get you quickly surfing on your feet, armed with knowledge of beach and sea safety and the living things around us.

EVE: Team building, a whole tool box full of exciting activities to engage and develop young peoples confidence, skill sets, and communication skills to bring out their individual talents whilst learning to work together as a team.

Day 5

AM: Review the week , relating skills learnt to real life challenges. Depart with packed lunch. Certificates & Goodbyes De part N.B – Timings may vary, and sessions adjusted according to weather conditions.
