Car sharing

One of the great benefits of living in Pembrokeshire is that it feels like living at the edge of the world, and in fact Ireland is a lot closer than London! If you are coming by car, please try and fill as many seats as possible; if you can get more than two in, you will be more environmentally friendly than if you use public transport.

We would like to encourage you to hook up with others that are visiting Pembrokeshire and to share lifts wherever possible. If you are travelling by yourself, you can find others to travel with and share the expense. Try www.switch2share.com or Register with www.liftshare.org and you can organise transport with 65,000+ other car sharers, looking for and offering lifts.

We know that it feels strange to do this, but please give it a go. Not only will you be giving invaluable help to the planet, you are also likely to meet people with a common interest in getting outdoors, being active and enjoying Pembrokeshire – it could be the start of a beautiful thing.
