Surfing
These days everyone seems to want to surf, which is hardly surprising as it’s one of the coolest sports on the planet.
Invented in ancient Polynesia and Hawaii, surfing has undergone many changes in the last few hundred years and with recent advances in wetsuit and surf board technology, there’s never been a better time to learn to surf.
Wales is a great place to learn to surf, at TYF you’ll learn to surf with the best surfing coaches, in some of the cleanest and most wildlife rich coastal waters in Europe.
Our surfing experiences…
We have been teaching surfing since 1986 and have taught over 100,000 people to surf safely. We’ve learned a lot since 86 and have tailored our half day learn to surf courses to reflect our 25 years experience.
Our half day surf lessons include a comprehensive look into the surf world, from the roots of surfing to surfboard and wetsuit design, surf prediction and surf safety. We’ll teach you how to paddle, how to negotiate the surf when making your way out back, how to prone ride in control of your board and finally the art of standing up and catching your first wave.
We like to make sure our beaches are protected, clean and free from marine litter so we’ll include some important information from our good friends Surfers Against Sewage.
