St. Davids Cathedral and Bishop's Palace Venture into Pembroke and you are in the birth place of King Henry VII, Pembroke Castle is a ‘must do’ on anyone’s hit list whilst visiting.
On route to one of our climbing sites lies the 12th Century St.Govans chapel, chiselled into the cliff face, there are many legends surrounding it, could Govan have been Gawain, Knight of the Round Table?
A visit to the nearby Stackpole National Trust Estate takes you on an historic journey through the lives of the Cawdor family. The Lilly ponds there are a haven for wildlife, if your keen eyed you may even spot an otter.
Take a boat trip on or around Caldey Island and the adjoining bird sanctuary of St.Margaret’s Island to visit the Cistercian monastery (the chocolate is very good) or say hi to the seals that are drawn to the safety of inaccessible beaches.
