Half Day Coasteering

TYF Coasteering is run at different grades and for most people our Blue Line hits the spot - a good mix of all the elements: rock, air, water, salt! Keep a log of the routes you do with us - you'll need it when it comes to booking a White or Flatline Coasteer.

BLUE LINE

An introduction to coasteering, which takes your group along a relatively easy route involving climbing, swimming and cliff jumping. Conditions can vary from flat calm to some swell – we can’t control that – but your guides are experts and will know how to deal with whatever you encounter along the way. WHITE LINE

This is one for big wave days and experienced coasteerers – when a deep Atlantic low is sending powerful swells on to our shores then it’s a White Line day. Expect plenty of action as you’re lifted up and down by the swells and have to negotiate the cliffs and caves with skill and care. You’ll need to be a strong swimmer and confident in rough seas, in return for which you can expect a truly memorable day of coasteering. Enquire about white line on 01437 721611

FLATLINE

We need flat conditions for Flatline days, but don’t think that means it will be easy – Flatline coasteers are at least ten times longer than an average route, so you’ll need to be fit and have high levels of stamina and endurance – if you’re into adventure racing or triathlons this will be right up your street. GREEN LINE

Green Line coasteers give you a deeper insight into the high energy and spectacular inter-tidal zone. Waves regularly batter the cliff faces and the plants and animals that live here, whilst it’s alternately flooded with water or left high and dry twice a day as the tide rises and falls – not the easiest place to make your home.

Green Line coasteers provide fascinating information on what this world is all about and show you how its residents survive – bearing in mind that for a short time at least you’re one of them!
